I've liked all of your work but this... It really seems to draw me in, somehow. I love this image. I've had it open for the past couple of hours and just keep clicking back to it, gazing at it for a while, then going back to what I'm doing. I just really like it.

who will be your epublisher?

GingerOpal In reply to HDdeviant [2013-07-10 22:29:33 +0000 UTC]

I'm looking to get it published traditionally first, but I'm also considering epublishing as well if the benefits are better than the traditional way. I haven't looked at very many online publishers. If you have any recommendations I'd be glad to look at them.

amazon is the traditional look, they have a great firm in germany, but i am a kobo fan myself. in truth, focus on getting your base and ebook is well

Those people are Lars and Loknich, come to save the princess! (Because in this case it is a two-person job.)

You know....this kind of reminds me of the scene from Shrek where they go rescue Fiona from the tower. The coloring really helps with the mood and makes the lava much more clear. So who are the chaps (fighting?) down below?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GingerOpal In reply to Theophilia [2011-09-08 02:17:33 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, this was one of those scene where I wrote it (yes, I planned this scene out before Shrek came out, so what if I've been working on this for over a decade) and then a movie with an extremely similar scene comes out. I was not happy. But I kept my scene anyway.

The chaps down below are Lars and Loknich.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Theophilia In reply to GingerOpal [2011-09-09 23:28:11 +0000 UTC]

Hahahah, nice. It's okay, Loknich really has it in for Lars, doesn't she? I haven't heard much about Ipomea though, what's her role in the story?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

GingerOpal In reply to Theophilia [2011-09-24 20:04:11 +0000 UTC]

Actually, Loknich is trying to help Lars reach knighthood. Ipomea is the princess Lars has to rescue because it's a requirement for attaining knighthood, and Loknich has to help him fight the dragon gaurding the fortress because it's required for her to become an Enchantress. In other words, they're helping each other do their homework.
