Description
So, New year, new start. Just like with Death Ghidorah 2.0 I made this with the intention of rendering the original obsolete.

However unlike Death Ghidorah, the Original mutation is not as cringe worthy. But it got an upgrade regardless with the skills that have grown and matured since it's creation back in 2010 ( almost 6 years ago now!)
With this revamp, I wanted it to be (Slightly) more accurate to Soultero01's original design, which to this day remains my personal favorite of all Godzilla related fan art on this site.

The spikes on her neck took some time to get looking right, hence how in the teaser silhouette the head looked different. Also the shoulder tendrills proved to be a pain in the A to size accordingly, as on the original they remain the same dimensions from the DAM Biollante sprite.
And ever since experimentation on facial expressions and movement began within the last 2 years I really did not want just another slight edit of the DAM Default Head for Godzilla.
As for the 9000th inclusion of Razor Claws tail, there is a legitimate reason for its presence. An idea for her tail came to be as a giant stem with the characteristics of a vine. The dorsal plates were quite fun to finalize, as it were not for the bulky shoulders they would look pretty impressive as standard Godzilla spines.

Originally, a small rose was to be added to her chest. Under revision however this looked excessive and was removed during polishing to balance the final look. Even so, this thing fits right into the later parts of the Heisei era with her thunder limbs. Haha.

God forbid this were a fully fledged suit!

Finally, the color scheme was at first just going to be dark green. Then I realized how bland that would look. So it was decided to go with a palette that would fit with a shedding/metamorphosis theme as the Mutation becomes more and more Godzilla esque.

That concludes this behind the scenes. Highly satisfied with how this one turned out and good timing too. Wanted this done and up.
