The easiest way to get a cub to sleep is allowing them to stay up longer ... then scoop them up 5 minutes later
And not all cubs wants changies, especially if the are a bit older and it's a bit embarrassing for them. But I guess that's not the case here

Looks down at child/fur ball in arms, smiles and carries him back too bed, tucks in and leaves for whatever nocturnal activates grown ups do.
Was a problem for me, then certain soaps can do it... but not industrial grime that affects most.
