Description
The Giant's Ring in Belfast, Northern Ireland is an ancient henge. Situated near Shaw's Bridge, south of the city, the standing stone monument is surrounded by a circular earth bank, 200 metres in diameter and 4 metres high.

It is a popular destination for visitors in the area. Here, in the middle of the day in January, the sky is partially clear, with some cloud near the horizon.

At this time of year, the surrounding grass is quite yellowed and not very attractive unfortunately, but the light was quite good.
