I have to say, this chaps my ass. And the catalyst and perfect example of this was the Derpy fiasco.I know plenty of disabled folk (myself included) who were not offended by Derpy. In fact many of us found it adorable!
But here come the ~*ENLIGHTENED*~ social justice warriors who are not disabled yet insist they know better than the rest of us and tell us that we SHOULD be offended. If we're not, then we're stupid and condoning ableism or whatever.
If the said marginalized group tells you shut the fuck up and stop speaking for them because you don't know anything, fucking stop it. Do you realize how goddamn insulting that is? You swooping in to save the day implies that you think the group is so weak that they need someone to "save" them. We're not so damn defenseless we need some self-righteous pricksicle saving us.
Shut up. Shit pisses me off.
EDIT: This does apply for all sorts of things; race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc etc. I only used disabilities since it is the group and issue I am most familiar with.

I'm aΒ trans guy and I had these 2 friends who, whenever someone called me she or my birth name, they'd have a go at them and be like "excuse me HES a boy". When they were literally saying hi to me and being polite. But the thing is I didnt want people who I barely talk to or people who are nice to me often to know. It doesn't effect me because at the end of the day they don't know really.
Plus another thing that drives me up the wall is when people take things out of context. Like when people say shit like "oh this cartoon character is so unrealistic it's offensive to (whatever minority idfk)." But like.. they're a character. It's fine if you don't like a character because they're unrealistic to a certain "minority" or whatever but getting offended does nothing. Like when people get offended over Apu from the Simpsons but they're not even Indian and he's literally just a character, I know it's a weird example but I see people getting offended over him lol

Yeah, I feel you there. I've never thought of being trans. Sometimes I wonder what it's like to be male, but I would hate to go through that. I'm hoping there is a way for people to not get offended over everything they see. There was a gay kid who was twerking or whatever on stage and adults would throw money at him. It's pretty fucked up the way people support gay pride. I'm straight, but it's like straight people don't know how to support it without it going too far.

I remember three people asked me if I was outraged about Johnny Depp portraying a Native American and then started posting a bunch of anti-shit about it, calling out Disney for it's negative stereotyping on Native people in general and just recently, bitching about J.K Rowling's references to Native mythology on Skin Walkers, which is part of my tribe's culture.
Maybe other Native people are offended, but that's them. They have the right to feel as they do, and the same goes for me. We're not a hive mind, we don't claim to speak for every nation out there. Everyone has their own opinions on what's offensive or not. If I say I'm not offended, I'm not a race traitor or internalizing any bullshit, I'm just expressing my own views.

People have the right to be offended, but people have no right to stop freedom of speech because they are offended. I got a lecture from someone I didn't even know after laughing when one of my friends jokingly called me a tranny. The one giving the lecture? A cisgender business woman. My friend? A transgal. Me? A transguy. We didn't know whether to be happy because we successfully passed, or to feel sad for the lady because she failed in her pursuit of social-justice. Either way it was pretty funny.
