Description
Project: Rooftop is back! I jumped right back in with this Black Canary costume redesign. Probably I'll take a few other stabs at it before choosing one to submit.Just trying to design a costume that would let her kick butt, that doesn't use the jacket-leotard-fishnets combo, but still suggests them.

I like how you incorporated details from her blue and black JLI outfit, especial the blue turtleneck part.

Very elegantly designed. Looks like it was made for her. Which it was, I guess, so that statement is less indicative of quality than it really deserves to be.
I found myself especially drawn to the details - the subtle canary on her belt o' utility (which is off the waist, very much in style now), the reinforcements on her knuckles and feet (well placed in high traffic areas), gripping treads on the shoes for those rainy nights, the tough material covering all the spots that might potentially scream "stab me" to an uncouth ruffian... quality work, all around. And, as ever, brilliantly executed.
Out of curiosity, anything set aside in the mask department? And what exactly is the headband-looking thing on her forehead? Is it, as my initial impression suggested, a headband?

That is kind of what they look for there, and you can still tell it's supposed to be Canary. I do like the symbol on her belt too.
To be honest, that's where I first saw your work, and when I was looking around on dA and saw, I can't remember what picture it was, I recognized your style.

She's cold, I guess, haha.
Honestly, it's a good bit of visual interest on the face, and it makes skin more lively and believable when compared to the other materials of the image. Just a personal quirk!
