I gotta say, these redesigns really appeal to me.
I have never been a huge fan of the FF's uniforms, but this really livens them up- It gives them a real noir/scientific feel and Johnny's in particular looks awesome- It has an almost race-car driver feel to it that really reflects his character.
The thing I think most appeals to me is the way you keep the outfits modern while giving them the flair I mentioned earlier; This is totally something I can see Reed wearing in current storylines.

Thanks! It was a challenge to take the costumes beyond the spandex level. All the characters have powers that require specialized costuming, so it's tough to consider that while also trying to dress them in "real" clothes.

Yeah, the sleeves have a section that can expand, and Johnny's outfit is flameproof (to a point.) This was a fun project.
