I redesigned Static's costume for a Project Rooftop contest: [link] Static is one of my favorite comic characters from way back before I even read comics, but watched the Static Shock cartoon on Saturday mornings.

In this, Static is a bit older, and he's moved to a slightly more "traditional" super hero costume than what he's wearing in comics now. I always liked that his jacket had the same effect that a cape does when it billows around him, and I don't think he'd give that up. I liked the goggles too, in place of just a mask, because they can act sort of like sunglasses and maybe block out some of the light when the electricity really gets flying.

So in the end what I came up with was sort of a mix between his current costume and his very first costume in the original comics, with a bit of tweaking here and there.
