I actualy feel sorry for those in the corp.. they aint bad guys or fighters but have the oldest and worst equipment of any force in the US military...
These tired old birds first flew in the early 60' before even *I* was born... thats O L D !!!

The Frog is a great helicopter, just because it's old doesn't mean it isn't still a functional effective machine. Same is said for all Marine Corps equipment.

yes I know it still works.. but I also know what happens to an aged frame ( like say my on!) and it is sad that they SHOULD have modern and updated equipment but have to use such old stuff

That is true, I think the stopping in production of the CH-46 Sea Knight was a mistake. I mean hell the Chinook is still being made for the Army !
