I'm kinda hoping that it's everything Clash of the Titans and Troy weren't. It looks like we might finally see some classical heroes really come to life on the big screen! Plus, I think this is the first time the Theseus myth is coming to the screen, so I'm really excited that Hollywood is finally using a story that we haven't already seen.

Yeah, I watched a History Channel documentary on Star Wars (and why Star Wars stuff is on the History Channel, I have no idea...) where they talked about Joseph Campbell, and his influence on Star Wars, particularly in Lucas' decision to use the "Hero's Journey" format. At some point, I'd like to pick up one of his books, but...well, you know. Life gets in the way
Have you ever read the Wanted comic? It's the Villain's Journey...like the hero's journey, but more evil! The movie kinda does the same thing, but not nearly as well as the comic. I like the movie well enough, but it's almost completely different than the comic.

Ah. I'm reading Joseph Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces and I learned about the Hero's Journey in 9th grade. Oh, not really. Villains haven't really interested me too much unless they're sympathetic villains. A real good one is Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda though.

Great job as always bro... The lineart was good but seeing the finla colored piece is juz great! Love the contrast in textures of the cloth, skin and the shiny metallic objects. Anatomy looks awesome too! Hmmm... whats ol Herc holding in his left hand there?

That shiny object in his left hand is one of Hesperedes' golden apples, which Herakles had to acquire in one of his twelve labors.
