I'm not sure what Deviantart's market is like, or how long these take for you to draw. If it's an hour or less each, I'd say you could easily charge around 35$ for one of these charming little guys! And I might suggest providing a png with transparent background so paying customers can decorate their DA page with it, etc

I've actually never been on the FA forums haha! But I found, just by posting art frequently, my popularity on FA eclipsed my popularity on DA in just a year o___o and I never even advertised my FA account on DA haha! It was all just thanks to FA's internal community. It's a pretty enthusiastic bunch.
People also frequently click the banner ads on FA, so if you put a banner up (it's only $20/month), then you get a ton of new followers, very quickly as well.
I also find that FA has a lot more people looking to buy commissions than DA does.Β
Β I'm not sure if that answers your questions at all, but it's all I can think to say on the matter XD
