Description

P-4260, or P-4 as most call him, is a robot racer built for speed. He uses lightweight armor and a small energy blaster to fight his way through opponents on the track. His nimble movements and quick use of his kickstands allow him to leap over large holes and stop on a dime. Outside the track he often enjoys exploring and looking for treasure. Often on such adventures he makes a friend or two, most of them animals.

Well well well. It's certainly been a while. If there are any of you out there who still remember me in the... *looks at last Lego related post* 2 years it's been.... well, thanks for bothering to remember me. I appreciate it, really. I am trying to get back on the horse and I have been building while I've been away. Not much, but some. I've been playing a lot of JRPGs lately and watching a lot of anime so I expect that will have affected my building style some. We'll see. I'll be posting some of that newer stuff in the next few weeks. I've had this guy built since before I left so it's nice to actually post him. He's not anything wonderful, but he's been a really cute addition to my collection of weird creations and I am fond of him. If anyone's out there, let me know what you think of this little guy and keep an eye out for more stuff coming soon

I don't like the right arm. The elbow is too low. It doesn't have to be in the middle like happens with humanoids, but honestly the design feels a bit lazy. Even if it looked disproportionated in comparison with the other arm, I would have extended it a bit.

Ea, complaints done, gotta say I love this guy a lot. Haven't seen original builds like this in years. Like, you weren't aiming to imitate a certain look like a humanoid girl or a wolf or something, just attaching pieces and saying "this looks good, could be a nice leg with wheel" and then trying to use as many pieces of a specific color you could. More like "building for the sake of building" and not "building to achieve a certain design of a character I had". Yes. Missing that a lot.
Legs and torso are amazing, I absolutely love the use of so many old pieces, keeping the... hum... "trapezoidal" look? I mean, Slizer head, Mata face and Mata feet have quite the similar shape. Anyways, the thread wheels are great, I actually like that choice for such a stone-themed-like robot. I like the cannon arm too, specially the transred there, nice detail. And the back is quite unique, looks surprisingly good I think.

Overall, great work, very nostalgic, dear! <3

Oh my lands, Gale! It's great to see you again! It has been more than a blue moon since we last saw heads or tails of you, haha.

I'm loving how much you did with such a small amount of parts with this model! The treads being used as individual "wheels" is something I don't think I've really seen before, it's very interesting. overall a really fun looking build and character

Spencer! It has been a very long time, and I am covered in the dust I've let collect on this account, apparently I need to invest in some good dusters. It's good to hear from you!

The treads were a placeholder actually, but I really ended up liking it. They helped get it started and I just liked them enough to leave them there. Thanks for commenting He's a cute little guy and he's been fun to have around.

Very cool! Kinda looks like Pohatu parts scrambled, but it works!

That's fair, I was certainly limiting myself to those colors and it figures that it would come out as such XD Thanks for your feedback!

Oh my dear sweet god, its Gale, and he's not dead!!! Welcome back man. I've missed you.

This is a neat MOC, definitely has a Pohatu vibe, which I dig. Do you not have any actual wheels and tires? I feel like those would sell the wheeled feet look better.

Dave! It's good to be back. Thanks, I've missed you too. How'd the new job turn out?

I do have actual wheels and tires but this guy started off as those wheels and that's just kind of where he stayed. Those probably would look better though.

Thanks. Well I'm doing security now, I like it cause it's super easy. I sit in my car all night and watch some employee parking lots and a truck yard. So there's a lot of Youtube and Netflix involved.

Hmmm I suggest you at least try regular wheels.

That sounds like a pretty nice gig lol. I can relate to having time for things like that, I've read so many books these past few years since I've been riding the bus everywhere that my bookshelves no longer offer me things I haven't already read. If I had good cell service you can bet Netflix or Crunchyroll would be my best friends Glad to hear it's going well for you at least

Well that's good. I've tried reading at work, I just get sleepy, which is bad. So I watch youtube and netflix cause that at least engages me enough to keep me awake. That's honestly the hardest part.

Sounds like things are going well for you to, I hope they are.

Staying awake is definitely the hardest part lol. But at least you found something to help with that.

For the most part they are. Life has not gone according to plan at all, but I'm happy to be where I am and I'm still breathing so I can't much complain.

Life never really seems to go according to plan. You know what they say about Mice and men and all that. Just gotta adapt and survive.
