So I got really busy with stuff around Halloween and didn't really have an opportunity to finish these up in time. But I'm hoping people wanted to see what I'd stick these two in for halloween, so if you did, here you go! ;DBetter late than never right
It's a little sloppier than usual, and I know there are quite a few mistakes, but I had a lot of fun with this, so that's what matters!
Nicole is a cute little pixel witch. Her hat from the comics was enough evidence for me to think she would quite like big, poofy hats XD I really contemplated dressing her up like Iron Nicole(who I still need to post a proper picture of cough cough), but eventually I decided against it. It's such a massive sore spot for her, I can't imagine her using that particular look again for any purpose under any circumstances--there are just too many bad memories attached to it. Besides, she wouldn't want to actually scare anyone with her costume-- Chaos knows she's just in this for the candy! Shard, on the other hand, took the opportunity to look as creepy as possible and embraced it. Every other day of the year, he'll declare that he's not the slightest bit creepy or evil looking, but this particular occasion called for something special. Don't worry, no other robots were harmed in the decorating of his scythe!...well..almost none anyway

I know you draw a lot of ShardxNicole fan art, but I think this is one of your best. I like the costumes you designed for the pair. The witch outfit suits Nicole to a T because it matches her normal dress colour. The colouring is vibrant and deftly shaded, plus I notice you took the effort to colour the outlines too. It helps to lend the characters a light, cartoony look. Sadly, you still draw Shard a bit on the lanky side and his pose is ungainly. His head doesn't sit properly on his body and I think left knee is bent the wrong way.

Thank you so much for the critique, Glitcher. I actually find it very interesting that you consider this one of my best- I personally wouldn't have considered it as such! I definitely see what you mean with Shard. His 'body type' is something I'm still trying to figure out, obviously with some trial and error. I hadn't even noticed his head issue until you mentioned it- oops! I'm not a huge fan of the typical round bodies of the Metals, so I'm still trying to work out something that I like more and that works with my style better. Working along the lines of Boom! Metal Sonic's body has seemed to work the best with his original shape while also not making him look too awkwardly tall or lanky-- most of the time. Practice does make perfect- or at least better- so I suppose I'll just keep trying! 
And I did just want to say that I really appreciate the time you put into your thorough critiques. They really help me identify areas I need to improve, so thank you for continuing to offer your thoughts on my work. I hope I'll continue to see you in my inbox in the future
