Well, that depends on your perspective ;D
Canonly yes, there is no longer any hope of it being 'real', but the whole ship thrived on the fandom to begin with. The fans made it happen when the comics didn't, and it's been fairly strong ever since ^^  I don't think there is any reason to be too sad, haha!

I hear ya! They are just so cute together!
(I don't know why but I just had a weird dream where to in an alternate universe, shard was one of the many "special" projects that were experimented on by G.U.N to extend the life of soldiers on the battle field. 

And by robotizing them they could make super soldiers without taking away their freedom, however at one point he escaped and went into hiding with Chuck and his lab assistant, Nicole.
It kinda ends there but playing chess, stopping evil, as well as hugs, kisses, and marriage were included! ^^
