Description
This is the pentacle I used to wear.I say used to because someone "accidentally" picked it up, or somesuch. I have a newer one I wear, but its not as photogenic as the one pictured here.

I would recommend shopping online. There are lots of sites with fairly good selection. I don't know of one offhand that has this particular pentacle, but chances are good you can find something similar.

Really though I think it's your choice whether or not you wish to display your faith. I understand where her worry comes from, some communities are mean or even harshly discriminating to people of any non Judeo-Christian faith. However, the times are changing, and some things are becoming more accepted (depending on the community you're in of course). I'm in the Army and I can wear mine. Now I can even have it on my government tombstone if I so desire.

Such a shame that someone had the heart to take something so precious to you. I'd say I understand what you feel, but odds are I probably don't, for something like this definately has personal value to it.

It was purchased at a store. If I knew how to make such things I would certainly make my own.

Hmm... actually metalsmithing isn't hard to learn, and one can make a new one out of wood or ceramic (clay). You still do have the design for it, so why not make a project out of it and remake what you lost?

Where did you get such a pentacle, if you don't mind me asking? I have a wiccan friend who really wants one with the endless knot being part of the star figure, but I have no idea where to find one. All I know is that I really want to surprise her with one as a gift and thank you.

This one I got at a small silver shop. I don't remember the name of it. They're not too hard to find, you just have to look really close beacause most places will only have one or two pentacles. Of course then there is always online shopping..

awsome pentecle! I love the contrast of the fabric and the metal.
If you want to clean it to make it wearable again, use lemon juice, it gets rid of all the outside interferiances.

Nice lighting and composition. That doesn't look like a shadow to me but part of the fabric that's behind the necklas. I agree not the best background to show off the piece but it doesn't destract too badly.
