And this time it was you who got my message, just as I did with your "first person point of view" shot. I wanted, in a way, to emphasize that despite all the beauty created by human culture(s), we're just a small fraction of Nature (with a capital N, yes ), of the world that has been "here" since time immemorial and will remain here and will still be beautiful* when we, humans are long gone - and that that gives us a kind of freedom we really should grow up to appreciate. (Well, put it like that it sounds a bit -ish but... umm... that's what I think. )
Thank you!

*okay, beauty is in the beholder's eye, and if there's no beholder... but let me just not get lost in that now.

i can see how this kind of scene inspires your digital arts; the colors and what-not. Just curious, is it ever sunny in Hungary?

i had the same impression :/ and, well, for the most part it is, but it's colder than I thought in the winter...we'll see how summer goes. ah, the weather.. I actually like overcast...I've wanted to visit Seattle in the States for sometime. there it's always grey and rains a lot, but apparently is very beautiful, and has a unique "vibe"... I dunno If i was to pick a favorite, it would still be chicago. you get four seasons. when it's winter, you know it, when it's summer you know it etc.

yes, i was born in US and yes the grunge attraction makes sense (and your english does, too) the weather probably had a big effect on the music...as I'm sure it does on the culture and all that. well, I should say that Hungary would be a nice place to visit for me, I hear it's a beautiful country (and the women, beautiful, too). I been to Romania once, which is, you know, out there...eastern, though I dunno how similar in weather and geography. .

yep, if you know where to look and where not to look, our country is beautiful, but i guess that's true for most countries of the world. weather-wise and geographically we're quite similar (i think) to Romania, though we don't have such high mountains but have more plains. (Romania and Hungary are neighbour states, by the way, and have - in a _lot_ of local minds at least - a long-lasting grudge about Transylvania, populated mostly by Hungarians but belonging to Romania legally) As for our women, yep, they're beautiful at least I think so (especially about my ). So I think some day you should pay a visit, yes, especially if you liked your previous journey round here. (When was that, btw? )

My jaw just droppes. Seriously!
I love photos that show how small people and things they create are. Sky is unlimited....

Have you read any books by Jostein Gaarder? I don't know if they were translated into Hungarian but they sure are available in English. Well, in one of them (the English title is "The Ringmaster's Daughter") you can read a very interesting sentence. I'll try to do my best to translate it into English:
"[...] long before Armstron took the great step for the humanity, I had been on the moon and I had experienced for the first time how tragicomic all wars and and borders are."
Something like this..
*sigh* Anyway, my point after all this is: we really are small. Our egos are way too big for our possibilities.

I know the name of Gaarder, yes, but nothing more... i've been planning to read "Sophie's world" (a Gaarder-book, isn't it?) for a while...
the quotation and your point is quite true.
and the *sigh* about it (the case of humanity) too.
