Been wanting to revisit this very special place for quite a while.Got there in glorious sunshine but unfortunately there was a guy in the way merrily sat drinking his way through a carrier bag full of Stella Artois. After waiting a good hour, he finally went just as the sun went in and the rain came ! Great !
Hopefully in full view, you can make out the well chapel in the dark through the arched branch and the weir on the right hand side.

Well worth checking out, especially as your're so close. Its a real challenge to shoot as its both shady and sunlit in the same scene with is a bugger to expose correctly. Luckily my software can get rid of the old purple fringe problem. Just one thing to bear in mind, the access road on a sloping tight bend is a deathtrap to get out of, you almost have to pull out blind into oncoming traffic which is a real no no if your car has a long bonnet. Given the choice, I'd walk it and be safe.

I know that junction, driven past it and can def concur on the hazardous access. Got a mini though, should be ok.
