Mirado Black Warrior HB pencil

Prismacolor black colored pencil

I did this sketchy drawing in preparation to draw Smaug. Fan art is really not my forte, but I do like to make it on occasion. There's just so much freedom in making up dragons that have never been made before. I especially like the reverse scales on the neck belly of this guy. I'm sure someone has done it before, but either way, I think it's a nice touch. Hope you like. Stay safe out there.
