Description
I made these two costumes based on characters from the game, "OKAMI". Amaterasu is worn by a good friend and I am wearing the Nine-tail Demon Fox costume. Both costumes were designed to move on all four legs. Both costumes utilize techniques from both my costuming experience and from studying techniques used in NingyΕ jΕruri (Bunraku puppetry). They are constructed from polyfoam, evac foam, faux-fur, plastic and latex.Related content

These two costumes were originally made for a masquerade skit-- first at AX07, then (as a spoof) at SDCC 2007. With luck, we'll be at Fanime in San Jose this year (2008).
