Not to begin with, but they'll grow close over time. It'll be complicated for them both since she's a thief and he's a cop.

Reminds me of Sly Cooper and Carmelita Fox from the Sly Cooper series. Β And sweet. Β Does Leon know about Felicia's night life as a high-tech ninja thief?

I think maybe you should put this in the real comic if you ever get started on it

Its fun to see the tables turned. I have seen so many male nosebleeds over the years that it has gotten a bit stale.

I still find them kinda funny to be honest, but I guess they are kind of over done these days.

I still find them funny as well, but it just does not have the same impact that it used to have. Seeing it here kinda revived it for me though.

*laughs* Awesome! I've actually seen anime/manga girls get nosebleeds! I just can't for the life of me remember what characters! I KNOW I've seen them. I love the last line" j-just get some damn clothes on!" Fantastic!

XD Brilliant work man. Love it! I'm curious as to what posessed you to draw this. It actually reminds me of something I did, although in that case one of the characters had fallen through the ceiling after getting out of the shower. Rotten floor timbers.

HA! That's great.
On the subject of the last panel in your comic. Can you please explain to me why in manga and anime, young boys get nosebleeds when they are what is guess is "sexually excited" at the sight of an attractive female? What is the deal? Does this really happen to Japanese boys? Also, your comic is kind of unique in that I have never, NEVER seen a girl have the same response in a comic or cartoon.
There needs to be some kind of wikipedia page that explains what all the common weird happenings in anime mean for those of use just behind the curve. Things like the teardrops, odd facial expressions and women briefly turning into cats to show mischief.
If you can offer an explanation to this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I understand the visual shorthand but I'm still really thrown by the whole weirdness of a nosebleed meaning attraction or arousal. I've never heard the theory about Japanese having thinner sinus walls though. More strangeness

The-NK In reply to Eggplantm [2006-07-27 03:38:58 +0000 UTC]
The whole bit about 'Asians having thinner sinus walls' is true to an extent. Nosebleeds can be very common, but it is usually hereditary. Example being my Asian friend. She had to have surgery done on her nose because of the way the Asian nose is developed. Asian noses, more specifically Korean noses, are broader and smaller. The cartilage in her nose had to be broken and re-aligned to help prevent her very common nosebleeds. Her father and sibling also had the same problem. She would get nosebleeds when angry, upset, nervous.. etc etc.. then.. Another Asian friend of mine was having the same issues.. but less severe and his grandfather had the same type of problem. I'm going to assume that it is common among Asians.. Simply because I knew about 4 families of Asians in my neighborhood and 2 of the families experienced nosebleed problems. It could have been coincidence. But to this day, I've never seen anyone have severe nose bleeding unless they've been punched. whereas.. The members of those two families were prone to getting nosebleeds because of emotion.. Just thought I'd share what my opinion is on the whole theory.
