Some Ascendence uploads for ya! Or at least, I'm uploading a few older sketches that I never got around to posting.Here we have some concept sketches of Mace's hardass mother, Cendrina Je'is Zanders. Previously a military commando, she is now a very strict instructor for new recruits. This strictness doesn't stop there; she is most hard with her son Mace - it's all done out of love, but don't ever expect her to admit it!

Ah, no. It was Mace's daughters that were going to be airlocked, and Narla (his wife) that talked him out of it.
His mother would probably shout at him for not doing it anyway, lol.

To be fair, I still need to draw them more and develop how they differ from each other visually. Cody and I are working on that though, so there'll certainly be more Zel'Ki and Ascendence artwork on the way!

At least Mace is easy to distinguish with his augmented arms.Well have fun developing them more and doing the comic one day!

She makes certain her recruits are ready for field duty. It's kinda gained her a reputation as a scary and fearsome teacher, but if you survive her training you'll most likely be a badass.

That is true, military instructors are only mean because in battle, only the strongest survive.
