This is the first of a pretty good-sized photo dump from SakuraCon '10. Holy shit, this con was a blast--and we've got some amazing photos.
Keep an eye out for them; it'll be a while before I get them all up. e_e;

I know, really, um, elegant costume for me, right?!
I am so secure in my masculinity and I LOVED THIS COSTUME. It was so fun walking through the crowds in it; I just felt so regal. xD And this guy--one of those con attendees that you can tell is obviously tagging along with their child--went, "Oh, look, a pirate!"
And I stuck out my hand and was all, "Tch. No. Earl."

Still. It's Ciel. It's just..wrong to think of him anything BUT that. Or maybe it's because I've seen the guy so much it's mandatory I recognize him. Either way, it was a great cosplay that's hard to beat.

Oh, was that you? I remember you now. So sorry, I have a horrible short term memory. But yes, that was me. I was originally going to go as Sebastian since I figured my height wasn't really suitable for such a character, but I wanted a challenge (and it most certainly was). I'm going to AE as Undertaker though, I'm pretty sure I won't be cosplaying this character again.

If you're going to AE, I'm going to be Undertaker on Saturday, so we could do a photoshoot maybe then. I'm actually already part of another Kuroshitsuji group, but I honestly don't mind a photoshoot with others too. I can't wait to be Undertaker. I find him to be a character more suitable to me for cosplay on both a physical and personality spectrum (silver haired psychopaths seem to be my thing for cosplay, I was Mitsuhide Akechi at Sakura Con and I'm also going to be Creed Diskenth at AE).
I was thinking about bringing a scythe prop for Undertaker, but I'm guessing they won't let me across the border with that. Maybe I should bring a skull or a lamp instead. Something creepy...

The thing I love most about your Ciel cosplay is that you just reek of him! - in a good way, of course.
You can tell his personality from your photos, and that's something some cosplayers can't accomplish, but you can very, very well.
- The only thing I wish is that the wig was a bit more blue. :<

I'm always glad to hear that I accomplish what I hope to, and that the personalities of the characters shine through with our cosplays; after all, it's not just modeling, right? It's acting, too. Totally.
Mm, the wig is actually bluer than it is in this photo. The lighting was pretty fucked up during this shoot (i.e., we were not in control of it in a hotel lobby), so I had to do a lot of saturation editing, which drained a lot of the blue from the wig. But, sometimes I prefer the more grey-blue/green hue to it.
Anyway, I know what you're saying. xD Thank you, so much!

Unfortunately, we didn't get much of Ciel and Sebastian, because the camera died and the battery charger was broken (we got a new one, though). D= BUT there are still some really awesome photos on the way of other costumes!

We had a man stop us in the street and take pictures, though he hadn't a clue what we were doing. :'D ~Digi-Elf was amused and worried. I had to wonder why though, mostly because my costume had degraded to random cat-girl by that late in the day.
