Impromptu "photoshoot" today. My Ciel wig came yesterday, and so did ~ShinraiFaith 's Sebastian wig (I think most of you know that). xD
So, what do you do when you're planning on cosplaying Ciel but don't have the actual outfit on hand? Why, you dig in your closet and find a white nightshirt, that's what.
Totally cliché action on my part, but whatever.
I'm just so excited to do this cosplay, I'm impatient. n_n;

I think it's absolutely AWESOME and slightly funny that you and ~ShinraiFaith switched roles! I could never do that, because I'm 4'9", and Bella is.. a lot taller..!

xD You know, there's a funny story behind that. At first, I was totally confused, and, upon seeing some cosplays of Ciel, I thought he was a girl. But then I saw a photo by *AudraUzumaki where she referred to the character as a "he", and I went, "...WHAT?"
So I looked it up, and ~ShinraiFaith and I both got the same vibe that our characters would be Sebastian and Ciel, respectively. Then we watched the first episode. And that theory was solidified. xD And then I read the manga. And the click I felt with Ciel is just... It's undeniable, now. Totally undeniable.
And ~ShinraiFaith is having a grand old time with Sebastian over there, isn't she? xD!!

I think closet cosplays are only allowed if one plans to cosplay the REAL outfit later. x'D
UGH. I know what you mean about connecting with the character. I read the entire manga (and am still reading it), completely captivated and intertwined with Ciel, it's crazy. A series is good when characters are relatable. That's probably why Naruto and KH are such popular fandoms. (Although I've come to slightly dislike ANY fandom/fanbase. WEABOOS. Ew.)

I totally agree; closet cosplays are great, somehow more...serious when the cosplayer knows how to handle it and plans on cosplaying the real outfit later. xD
Mm, I hear you. Certain fandoms/fanbases are really...aggravating. That, or all of them just get overrun by idiocy.
And yes--relatable characters. And some of them are just... You see yourself in them, you know?
