This, very unrealistic, scenario sees Frederick II of the Holy Roman Empire also gaining the Latin Empire (which was doing better against the Bulgarians than in our timeline) and its vassals. Not only is the Lombard League staunchly agains Hohenstaufen control of Italy, but states like Bulgaria and Nicaea want to rid the Balkans of their presence. The Hohenstaufen's will still fall.
