I...i just wanted to sketch some backstory possibilities for young Poppy....then i made this. ;w;Poppy belongs to me

I guess it was somewhat necessary, if she lured predators to them....yet how could anyone do that to such an adorable, sweet honey bun? Just look at those eyes Β My, I'm so relieved that she eventually found such a great great friend to count on out there Β

Awww...yeah the poor girl...
Red hair is seen as a recessive gene from her people. And really sticks out from the green foliage of their forests and mountains and such. Something that could easily catch the attention of preds, maybe lure them into the rabbit/lappin burrow.
But yeah good thing she eventually find a good friend later in life. And someone who think she's adorable regardless of hair color and such.

I think they had her wear a brown hooded cloak then. But it's hard to keep the hood up when she's running around with rabbit kids or strong breezes.

Awww yeah...poor girl....Lappins are taught to be wary and scared of many things at a young age. To ensure they survive. And react accordingly.

Well.. it is always a good thing to teach to be careful, especially when you're little Lappins, it's just a shame the poor young'ins have to grow up being scared of almost everything. ;w; Was there a source of inspiration for these two and their lives?

Yeah it is sad that they all have to learn this so early in life. But a must for their species to survive.
And do you mean story wise? Or design? Cause i know these two started off inspired by little red riding hood. Though they have evolved so much since then and gained there own little world.
It's hard to pinpoint an inspiration of their current story for them right now. Probably a little mishmash of what i liked seeing in shows, tv, books, and stuff. Then giving my own spin.Β Poppy's house is hobbit inspired i know that much.
