Hello everybody!
My friendly friend Ashly wanted me to draw her, and guess what?
I DID!
She's very pretty, no?
Anywho, I've started practicing some more realism stuff, like portaits and what not. So if I actually get to finishing the other 3 pictures I'm working on, I'll post em! Please tell me what I need to work on?
Medium: Tradtional
Tools: Mechanical pencil, wooden pencil, and a really good eraser 
Time: 8 hours (finished in two days)

Very nice detail and contrast in the shading
For constructive criticism, they eyes looks a little too big in proportion to the face as a whole (which is a common mistake, I do it a lot too) and I would also work on adding more depth and shading in the actual face
Overall great job though! Keep up the great work

That's always been a problem of mine, thinking about the skin being 3D just like the rest of the picture.

I have trouble with it too and I'm still getting better with it. The hardest thing for me is to get the depth in the shadows right and contrast that with the hightlights without making it look weird.

Haha Maybe! I got you at the realism stuff, but you are definately better at cartooning than I am. I guess we're sorta even, huh? Unless I keep practicing hahaha
