Last year I was too late for a Halloween pic, soooo I start early this year... LOLThis is a more funny follow up to my more sad "Halloween Magic" from 2007 [link]

Just perfect! Your art proves it take an artist to find the correct angle, use of geometry, lighting and atmosphere.
3D art is so much like Photography, there are so many photographers that fail to realize what gives life and awareness to a shot.
This render certainly has all that!
A question: How much work did you put into postprocessing it and what did you do?

3D is virtual photography
You use a camera, you determine the used length, the focal point, the depth of field, the lighting and the subject of interest (of course).
Postprocessing this was done in one hour, what did I do:
- some color correction on her skin and on the pumpkins
- removal of some render-artifacts on the pumpkins
- adding some rendered-fx-layer to enhance specular and reflection and shadows
- adding some fine details in flames, in her hair and in the volumetric light
- doing the depth-blur (the layer was rendered but the blur effect was applied using this layer later on in photoshop)
