To begin with the idea of a character sheets with all his references is a good idea actually, I should try :'O

I'm loving how sleek and elegant this design is. It's not often I come across gryphs with horns either. (I have... one gryphon-like character with that trait)

I really like the way you've laid this out making it have the feel of field notes and not just a pictures, thereby drawing the viewer into the image much more.
The colours you have used as has been said definitely gives it a very regal feel, making it seem the top predator.
The only thing I really noticed that somehow didn't sit right with me was in the side view the red in his eyes is more to the front, yet on the front view it is more to the back. Though that's understandable considering they are eyes and would move.
Overall I really like this, it's very interesting and different and you should be really happy with it.

1. You drew it very well. I assume this is your own creation? It looks great! Drawn very well, the curves and details all look amazing.
2. The coloring stand out the most. Your choice of colors gives off a very regal feel. I love it! Your shading is great too. Most of all, I want to compliment your detail on the hair. It's amazing! It looks so detailed, like a painting.
Great design, great technique, great work. Good job!

Oh those colours are beautiful! Especially around the head area. I also love how everything's kind of desaturated (a little) except for the mane, which looks amazing so golden. The wing colours go so nicely with the yellows, too.
