Because of how this particular piece makes me feel, I had "Terminal" tattooed onto my left calf a few months ago.

This is so gorgeously simple and still intensely emotional...I love it. I mean, I've looked at it before, but it seems to be one of those pieces I always come back to look at again and again. I guess it's baout damn time I just favorite it and get it over with, eh?

the muscles... body structure... pose... and the strings, oh the strings. this, like all in this series of three, is beautiful.
where do those strings go? who holds the other end? why, why? why isn't he free? who is it? why must he think like this when he'll never have the answer?
