Great marker work.
I love how realistic the proportions are to what one might normally see. It's very down-to-earth and believable. Only thing I'm confused about is the expression looks disgruntled (or evil smirk?) when I wouldn't have thought the situation would warrent it.
Regardless of speculation, you did a fantastic job.

So what do these Prisma colors run and how hard are they to get the hang of? Do they dry up easily or are they worth every penny?
I only ask because I'm about sick of Photoshop and ready to try some analog method of coloring!

I'm not sure how much the big sets run (they get expensive) but you can expect to pay about $3-4 dollars per marker. (actually, these are a good gift idea; hint around to your loved ones! ) My mom got me a base set of 24 for Christmas, and I've been buying a marker here and there to add to my set. I believe there are 144 total... and I have 34 of them... which is ample for me to work with.
What you might want to do is just buy the colors you use the most for your characters. For my Juliana, I use cream and light peach for her fur, light walnut, dark brown and canary yellow for her hair, 20% and 30% cool greys for her underbelly, and celadon green for her eyes. Then for her clothes, I usually use violet mist, light cerulean blue, celadon green, or pink rose. Something like that. Plus I sometimes use the clear blender marker to make things look more fluid. So, that's only 17 markers total, which is about $51-55 to create teh Juls.
BUT, these markers LAST for a long time; I've had my set for well over a year. They don't look choppy like other markers do - they blend really nicely. And it's not that hard to learn to use them; just make sure you experiment first before coloring a nice sketch. Just watch out for the bleed; like any marker, the ink flows just a little bit.
Good luck to you! I'm here to help you if you have any other questions!

As crazy as it sounds, I changed my name to the title of one of their song; For Evangeline. I had been planning on changing my name anyway, and Evangeline sounded so beautiful.

What is a fennec? Been meaning to ask you that...

A fennec is a small, lesser-known specie of fox. Native to the Sahara regions of Africa (and probably some other places), the fennec is little, like the size of a house cat. They have huge, over-sized ears which help them keep cool (by radiating off energy)... they also have astounding hearing, which helps them to catch prey (small lizards, birds, rodents... etc). They are also known as the "desert fox".
Back in the mid-nineties, the US military had a small operation in Iraq, which was called "Operation Desert Fox"... in other words, "Operation Fennec" XD

Speaking of military namesakes... during WWII the British army had their "desert rats"... with a kangaroo rat for their logo! XD
