Might be posting a few variations of this scene, hope that's ok, still consider these images to be practice. Any critique etc is welcome and appreciated.
Oh, and you might recognise the chimney peeking over the trees as the same one from the papermill, ie 1403, old AMCOR papermill

So you were open to any critique, so I go out on a limb.
The broad contrast is what caught my eye. Something truly white and something truly black. A sort of Ansel Adams spirit. That said, my next impression is a desire for more tonal stepping stones. Steps on the journey from white to black.
Now back to the first impression. Very bold in the reach for contrast. This is why I've added it to my favorites.

It has been a learning curve to figure out how to get the best image to work with from the camera, and so I was thinking the same about the tonal range truth be told. I appreciate the confirmation
