Ha ha, maybe not...Got a little crazy with my ballpoint pen... Starbucks and too much Christmas sugar will do that to ya.
I know the proportions are rather atrocious, but for the record this sketch was done maybe a year or so ago, and I gradually began filling it in with pen. This break I'm trying to finish some old ones and new ones, and I always kinda liked this one... It figures, that when I post a list in my journal of what I'm going to draw, the first submission after it wasn't even listed to start with.
Ah well, I had fun with it
And my apologies for the ugly gray corner... apparently the scanner wanted to contribute to the drawing.

Reminds me of Indian culture. I'm not sure why... maybe because of the markings? Or the fact that the wings look like eagle wings to me. Great picture!

Hee hee.... I've got a stash of them from my siblings for christmas
The nice thing about ink is that you can make harsh, bold lines or small, shaded lines that wont rub away like pencil. Just so long as you don't mess up, since there's no erasing

Sometimes I cheat if I mess up an ink drawing and just put white ink or paint over unwanted blobs-of course, there's always Photopaint

It reminds me of, ahhh, what do you call it??? ey I can't remember but it looks really cool. What it reminds me of is like the indian style of art like wolves with feathers thingy, except this also has a glowie feeling like christmas. I'm probably just crazy, and i can't blame it on the coffee!!!

Thank you! The feathers probably took the most time out of the whole drawing, partially because I couldn't decide on a pattern I wanted. I don't really know how long it took me, but I did it on a sugar rush so it didn't seem to take too long at the time
