Haha, not really menacing, more like pissed XD He's got so many reasons to be, this guy's been through a lot... if you ever have time to play this series or watch the cutscenes (for example while drawing), I really recommend cause its my very fave game series and the plot and characters are fucking fantastic and 1000% worth knowing (at least watch the intro here; luffik.tumblr.com/post/8083295… who knows, maybe it'd get you interested?)

And aw, thanks, not sure this actually has much of my style cause the stuff i submit recently is done for an expression meme over at tumblr, so i kinda take expressions and some poses from there, but if my style shows through anyway, that's a good thing i guess? XD

This one took like 2 hours from sketch to (kinda messy) lineart and colors, but somehow this one was easy to do, often I struggle and then it takes longer XD

I'll be honest, I've never actually even heard of the game's name before XP I'll check out the cutscenes when I have time, it looks pretty good, from what the intro looks like.

But ya, I do definitely see your style in this lol even if you were taking the poses or expressions from something else.  I would definitely consider that a good thing XD

That's pretty quick too! I'm not lying, most of mine take an entire day from the original sketch to full color. One of my new year's resolutions for my art is being quicker, without sacrificing quality of course.

Oh man, I am so hoping that you'll watch these. It's one of the most wonderful stories I've ever seen and one of my life goals is to try to make more people aware of this (time travelling vampires, kinda angels vs aliens conflict, giant squid god, demons, spectral realm, this game is the best shit <3, and the plot is sooo amazing). I know folks don't have time to play, and that old graphics in the first 2 games are a bit of a deal-breaker, so that's why I just advise watching the storyline cutscenes. If you do watch it, please let me know <3 (Lol sorry I'm recommending you a lot of stuff and you don't need to look at it anytime soon but I really hope you will check it out one day at least )

Well for complex things it usually takes days to get stuff done from sketch to colors but this is just a cartoony thing without any details in it XD Your work has crazy amount of details.

Naw I love the recommendations, seriously~ Keep em coming lol. I always have random videos playing on youtube when I'm drawing anyway, so that'll be perfect. Even listening through American Gods, audio books like that is perfect too while drawing. I'm about to chapter 10 on that btw, I'm really enjoying it so far ^^

Wow, so you're listening, that's awesome! Usually I recommend stuff to people and they never get around to it, I'm happy <3 Did you already get to that funny scene where Shadow tells "Hugging and Mugging" to fuck off? XDDD That was what I was originally thinking about when I saw your art for the norse mythology xD The TV series should begin airing soon, so this is just in time! Check out the trailer; www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXsqzh… I'm not fully sold on Mr Wednesday tbh, imagined him completely different (this guy makes me think more of typical cast for Satan in movies lol) but I really like Shadow. I always loved the book and I would be lying if I said that I didn't draw inspiration from it throughout my life. Our stories are pretty different but this stuff got me hooked on the idea of mythological creatures in the modern setting.

And awesome, let me know when you get around to watching the Legacy of Kain gameplays then, I'm always up for talking about that stuff <3

Tumblr is very different from dA, more interactive (like someone can reblog your picture and add their reaction picture for example, which is fun), but also your posts get lost under tons of other posts quicker. I like both tumblr and dA and I guess I wouldn't give up on any XD But yeah it's hard to update multiple websites.

that's the problem with audio books with me (why I don't listen to them that often) I tend to lose a lot from listening, instead of getting to read it thoroughly from the book itself. So ya I mean, the scene sounds familiar, I just can't quite remember it exactly XD The trailer looks great! I mean I'm a huge fan of Ian McShane, but I could see how you might imagine Mr. Wednesday to be completely different.

You know, Ian McShane isn't a bad choice for this role, I think it's the way they styled him, hairstyle and stuff... In the book he's described as having grayish red hair and a matching beard. And here in the movie he has black hair and no beard??? I thought Gaiman would have more sway over keeping characters true to the book, it's just weird. Like, even here Ian McShane looks more in the role to me; s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/o… Just make his hair reddish, trim it a bit and voila. Not this;  vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/a… XD
