Le côté artificiel est bêtement dû à l'utilisation de deux flashes déportés pour éclairer l'escalier

... et l'escalier, déjà interessant en soi, est vraiment bien mis en valeur. Vraiment très chouette!

This is in the French Alps, in the mountains over the city of Grenoble.
Sanatoriums have this specificity that they're always on amazing natural sites and in remote places - seaside, mountains...

Amazing shot - I love the contrast of the view out the window and the reflections off the glass panes on the floor.
Until you look at the floor, this place looks like it is actually very nice... what a shame.

The place was amazing - it is an old sanatorium, and, as such, it is situated in a very scenic environment, and the 30's architecture also has a lot of charm.
Sadly, scavengers are destroying it methodically to get every metal they can get from the electrical wiring and plumbing - it is now much more degraded that it was on this shoot, less than six months ago
