What a great shame somebody didn't find it and restore it, it really must have been spectacular in its day. Great shat the way the light is reflecting off the floor it really drags the viewer's eye back up to the windows and the sky. Great composition.

It's the real sky, and barely retouched (just compensated for the obvious exposure differential between inside and outside)

One hell of a view for a room. Gives a really nice color contrast and lighting. Love how the staircase is reflected in the glass/wood of the table. (Can't tell what material it is.)

It will probably just be demolished, the place is isolated and there's no real use for a 200+ rooms buildings there

I would like this to be given to the local press. Once published interest in the site might bring a recovery.

Alas, associations mobilized themselves when it was closed three years ago, but the site was too difficult to access for a hospital, and there is just no use, in our modern society, for such buildings.
Isolated as it is, it has been since the prey of teenagers looking for a place to drink beers and brake windows to kill time, and of scrap merchants looking for recuperated materials...

I agree. That view is like a framed photo. And the great space and winding staircase.

Yeah, like many sanatoriums, the setting - facing south at 1000 m over the valley is amazing, and the architecture also has some 30's luxury remnants.
