Nooo don't let Big Mac end up like in Animal Farm ._.
Amazing how you conveyed his effort through this painting.

This so unique! It's traditional, but pop culture all wrapped into one beautiful piece I'm having difficulty walking away from.Β

This is really beautiful work!Β There's a lot of great texture, and the color palette is easy on the eyes.Β I think it really relates Big McIntosh's nature, too, a hard-working stallion of few words.Β ^_^

The funny thing is is that, before I even looked at the description, I saw the picture and thought, 'Hey, that reminds me of Boxer...'
And then I read it and was like, 'oh, no wonder...'

Holy crap. This is such a stylistic and beautifully evocative image of Big Mac. Is this all digital? It looks like some of it might be pencil and it was digitally coloured.

Probably one of the best MLP pieces I've seen so far. So dramatic, detailed and refined. And I like the fact you've been inspired by a book written by one of my favourite writers ever.

Ah, the poor beasts of Animal Farm, deceived by the pigs who told them it was all for their own good... as their freedom was stripped from them by increasingly severe and oppressive laws and regulations, seizing ever more of the fruits of their labor for themselves until, far too late, they saw that the pigs were the same as those from whom they'd thrown off the yoke of servitude.
Hmm, now why does that feel so familiar?
Oh... ohhhhhhhhh... (feel like waking up yet, people?)

Flaws in your sort-of argument:
1) That book was very obviously on Communism and the USSR.
2) There's far too many 'muricans and "freedom fighters" such as yourself for them to get away with anything, even if the government was turning into a Communist dictatorship.
