Follow Firefly Path costuming & make-up on Facebook -Β www.facebook.com/FireflyPathWe created this gown for customer Jamilet Rodriguez. She asked us to recreate Regina's Gown from season three fromΒ Once Upon a Time . This gown is embellished with several crystals on silver standing lace. Oily black feather frame the face and trim the outer skirt. Three gathered layers of organza flow out from below the elbow. We custom made a panier shaped petticoat to give volume to the sides.

it would be better if the dress was more taller in the torso and thinner Β ...
for the chest, you can emphasis it by a ribbon under the chest area, and you may add pearls to the white pattern :3

considering it's a commissioned dress I'm guessing it was designed to fit the person wearing it.
and no amount of cute emote faces is going to make what you've said sound less rude

well, I was Just suggesting a suggestion ... it doesn't need to be too short at the torso to fit the person it was designed for ... I Usually modify the dress design before buying it ... that's my taste and my point of view .. you wanna accept it or not that'd be your choice .. and I saw many dresses which a fat woman can wear without having her fattiness emphasized .. btw, I don't hate fat ppl,however the dress you wear would either emphasize your charm, or not ... and it can also reduce your charm .. it really depends how the dress is designed to suit either all people or some or none at all Β (( of course make-up and other staff play a rule too ))... that is my explanation, hope my point reached you well .... btw : the thing that makes me sound rude or not is the way you think I am talking ... So try looking deeper in yourself .. maybe I am rude or maybe am just too frank !

I see that you mean well, but wouldn't it be a little kinder to leave out the part saying that you don't like that it makes you look fat? suggestions and constructive criticism generally don't include "I don't like ___"

Plus the reason the torso is so short is that its designed to stop at the waist. Most european dress styles stop at the waist, to bring attention to the waistline, and emphasize a big hip. the bigger the hip the better.

hmmm, that's one way of seeing it .. I still think that emphasizing the hip region doesn't mean to shorten the waist :3 because long proportional torso gives a thinner look for the waist and a defined line too :3 the designer could also tighten the chest area making it looks more emphasized without making the chest line looks wide -which she didn't do in this design- I think it is hard to give my view with only words, so I may draw the modified version of this design if you want to see what I mean ^w^ sorry if this sounded like am very nosy and all but it is just a habit + everyone have their own points of view by which they see beauty
