yea, I should probably be learning how to drive a car, but instead I'm drawing a raccoon XD

Yessss, raccoons are awesome!
Cars are not. They are loud, they stink and they are boring to observe. A day in the live of a normal car is pretty much 90% standing around in the same spot, doing nothing. Don´t know why people are obsessed with them. We should drive raccoons instead.XD

Seconded!
I have a license, but I rarely drive since I can´t afford a car for myself. I use my moms when I have to, but I really prefer public transport or using my bike. I´m not very experienced and therefore not a very good driver. It stresses me out every time.:I

I'm taking my driver's test on Wednesday, and I know my dad's gonna make me drive like every day when I do, and I'm deathly afraid of hitting things with a car >_<
I could've taken it last year, but I didn't for that exact reason...
I'd rather go on horseback, or like you said, drive a raccoon...

Dang.
But I´m sure if you really drive every day, it will become routine for you and you will slowly lose your fear.
Horseback... *sigh*
It´s been at least ten years since I´ve sat on a horse. One thing that sucks when you live in a big city: There are no riding stables!D:

I really hope so...
I've never ridden a horse, but I really, really want to...
I freakin' hate cities >:I
there are too many people and not enough nature. Plus, in my opinion, they only look good at night, because of all the lights and you can't see the grimy sidewalks and buildings :I

Riding a horse is actually quite exhausting at the beginning. You need a lot of stamina and a good sense of balance. But it´s also fun to be around these amazing animals.<3
Naaa, it´s alright. I prefer nature, sure, but from a purely practical standpoint living in a city isn´t the worst. It just can get loud and hectic sometimes... also it´s really, really hot during the summer because everywhere is stone which stores the heat and the high buildings block out the wind.
Like right now. I´m melting. Halp.@__@

well, I got good gams and endurance, so it shouldn't be that difficult :I
I just need good technique and state of mind...
I'm gonna move to Alaska where the cities are tiny and and the nature is in your backyard XD (I think it's funny that you need to have a bear proof garbage bin there XD)
I hate cold weather, but I love snow X3 so... much... ;u;
I'm also from Florida, so when it's like 90 degrees outside I'm like "oh, what a lovely, warm day it is today..." I just hate hot air, like when you go into a car that's been sitting in the sun for hours >_<
and humidity
humidity is the devil...

You want to move to Alaska while you are used to Florida weather? I don´t think you have any idea what you are signing up for there.oô
Yeah... when you are in an air conditioned room and go outside, it´s like hitting a wall of hot air. That´s never fun. But I can deal more easily with heat then with cold. I´m pretty small and thin, so I freeze very, very easily. While others can run around outside in short pants and shirts, I still have to put on a jacket and long jeans so I don´t suffer from the 'cold'. It´s freaky, but the volume/exposed surface formula they teach in school is pretty accurate. The smaller you are, the more easily you deal with heat and the more you suffer from cold.
If it´s humid at least fans & wind have a greater effect.XD

... then why do you want to live in a country where the average temerature is 'freeze your a** off'?ö__ö
Just go there on vacationfor a week or two whenever you want to see snow.

Well then, better stock up on long thermo-underwear, ski masks, blankets, gloves and hats.
Our winters in europe can be disgustingly cold already, in Alaska you´ll have the spit freeze in your mouth if you talk too much. I wouldn´t be able to live there. Especially since the day/night cycles are so crazy with midnight sun and almost completely dark days for months over the year.

and wool socks :3
I don't care how cold it is aslong as it snows. I need snow ._.
I mean, I love sunny beaches and 90 degree weather and all, but there are no bears and reindeer and moose and all those wonderful things in Florida.
I don't mind the weird day/night cycle, because it's too cold to go outside in the wintertime anyway, so I can just stay inside and play videogames while cuddling with my dogs
I love dogs ... so, so much... -_-

Snow is nice, I guess. It´s the only thing that makes winter bearable for me. As long as it doesn´t kill the traffic. Your university or your employer don´t care how you get to the lectures/work. If you arent there on time, you´ll get into trouble.:/
There aren´t any (wild) reindeer in alaska, either.XD
I believe they are native to scandinavia and russia, not to alaska. Or am I confusing something here?
Thing is, that is fun for a few months. Then the lack of sunlight will lead to depression and lethargy. It´s something I suffer from every year during november to february. Last winter was especially bad.*sigh*

There's a giant Reindeer migration every year in Alaska
Like, huge...
And there are happy lights that people get so that that doesn't happen...

I see.^^
I knew they travelled large distances & in giant herds, but I wasn´t sure where to.
Happy lights... sounds kind of silly.XD
But if it works I maybe should give these things a try, too.

Yea, happy lights does sound silly ._.
It's just a little blue light that you stare at when you wake up...
but I would totally get one even now...

Drawing hair with pencil is always fun.
Same goes for feathers, as you will see in my next drawing.^^
The sketch is already done, but I have to wait at least another weak before I can finish it up digitally and upload it.

Hmm, feathers. I took a liking to them lately. Or more specifically, feathered wings ^^ It's a b*tch to draw them, but still xD

Feathers can look so awesome if you are somewhat skilled in dawing them. There is a lot to learn about wing or even feather build, but it´s worth it.:3

Oh,I'm relieved then c:
I'm not very good at filling the canvas space with my drawing,I guess it falls into the same matter as you:in digital drawing it's quite easier to resize it.But when on paper I've got some problems with sizes ;-;
I'm looking foward to see them!
