he does look something doesn't he? I'm recently finding that I can't get eyes placed properly when I draw them for some reason. Photoshop is my saviour because it lets me to nudge things. I think this one could've used a little eye nudging too...

They're always on the halfway mark on any person's head. TT_TT I love that tidbit of help. I learned that even though we try to draw eyes in the middle of the head, our minds are always like "No, that's not right" and we push the eyes up. And then your lovely portrait looks like a neanderthal. So I guess one has to make the conscious effort to keep the eyes where they are. haha I don't know if you know this already or not. There's other little things, but I won't go on about it unless you want me to.

yeah, I know the halfway point trick...it just gets way trickier when working on anything other than the head on view. w/ 3/4 and profiles, I always screw it up. Working on it, but, blech...hyper irritating when I can't get it right.

I simply adore the use of shadows. It almost seems more shadow than not, and that makes me ♥ it.
