Hmm...Kingdom Hearts lingers, but I'm getting into comics lately. Mostly DC, specifically Robin. I also follow just about any of the animated movies that have come out in the past year or so. And Ninja Turtles randomly I've plenty enough things to choose from. Just gotta get to drawing.

I just got to Ventus. I was toughing it through Terra and not having a lot of fun...even though his attacks are pretty badass. But playing Ven is way more fun. I love this kid. Not as much as Sora, of course, but I appreciate game play with Ven way more than I did with Terra.

Hmm...favorite of the Org. That's a tough one. I'm not really all that into Org 13 really. I guess the one that I'm most amused by would be Demyx, but I have this fascination with Lexaeus. He's so under loved as a character. I don't really know that much about him, but he strikes me as the strong and silent but wise and loyal type. If I were to do stuff with Org 13, I think he'd be the one I'd explore the most. I'd be all about ZexLex too XD

I think that's why I like him so much. We know the least about this guy. I've actually written him into stories a couple of times and it's fun to have him in the background watching and observing, understanding everything that's going on but staying quiet about it. Then when he does speak, he doesn't say much, but what he does say matters. Great, now I'm gonna end up going on a mad Lexaeus hunt on dA and ffn. For a long time his name wasn't even in the character list over at fanfiction.net. Madness!

Well, I hadn't heard much about it until I just now went and did some research. My original thoughts had been along the lines of "don't need it, not buying a new platform just for this game." And then I saw that Sora and Riku are the primary players in this chapter so...this means I have to have it. I'll be on the lookout for a 3DS.

Plus OMG to the information I got from the secret movie at the end of Coded about what happens when you kill a heartless and a nobody. Won't spoil if you don't already know, but the implications are HUGE! And now...I'm really excited to get my hands of this game. Even thought I don't get why they keep putting our kids back in their KH1 clothes. Love the story of the first game, but the second game's designs are WAY better.

Well all of the games are connected. The story is a little...strange, but it makes sense. Mostly. Birth By Sleep actually introduces the story that will bring us to the final battle in KH3. KH:3D will be the events leading straight into the final installment. It's all very exciting.

Ha! That's too easy. I could write a novel about how much I love Sora. It's possibly unhealthy, but I can't help it. I think I just really appreciate the idea of a character that is both though and silly? Selfless and naive but wise in a way, and determined. I like that in many ways, he makes things happen just by believing in them hard enough. There is no room for doubt with Sora. He isn't perfect, but he never gives up. I think my idea of him is pretty specific too and nothing like what a lot of the other fans see in him. I cry every time someone turns Sora into a wimpy crybaby who can't stand up for himself

How about you? Which do you prefer? And yes, I have also noticed that this conversation has been going on for a while now Also, thank you. I think you're very nice too!

Me? It's strange that I prefer both. Well, Sora at first because he was too cute back in 1. Then Roxas came in 2 and the whole thing with the Org and Axel... Changed a lot!

But, I keep going back and froth from the both of them! Roxas has that strange appeal to me and Sora is strangely... Charming. You can't really hate them.

Namine for sure. There is something very...mysterious about her. I think I just like the things she's been through more than Kairi. Kairi is nice, but in the games she doesn't really get to do all that much. She gets kidnapped a lot. And gets used as a convenient solution to certain plot problems, but overall, she's a pretty passive participant in the story. Namine on the other hand was responsible for pretty much everything in Chain of Memories and played a big part in KH2 as well. She helped Sora and Roxas and Riku and Kairi at different parts of the story. Plus I get the feeling that there is more to her than we really know and she suffered a lot in the story over all. Which do you prefer?

Riku. What can I say? He and Sora complement each other so well. Riku went through so much and I just think he learned from his experiences and became a lot wiser because of them. Not many people can say they walked in darkness and made it back out with their minds intact. Plus Riku and Sora are best friends, and the entire game is about the two of them chasing each other. Is it any wonder so many people believe that they are meant to be together? Because clearly they are. I like Axel too. He's an awesome character, but at the end of the day, RiSo beats AkuRoku any day in my book. No contest.

I mean... Look at what EVERYTHING he's been through! And though at 1 I hated him for being a traitorous bastard and he was being mean to Sora... He made it up to him at 2!

And YES. I believe that they are meant for each other. Strangely... I like it soft and sweet for those two...

I don't know if I buy into the whole "nobodies can't feel" thing. I mean, if that were the case, they wouldn't care about not having hearts right? There's some feeling involved in wanted to get their hearts back. And really, emotions don't just come from the heart, so the logic of their lack of feelings is flawed. I think that DiZ and Xehanort jumped to some wrong conclusions and just spread the info even though it was wrong. That's my theory.

Not so much a feeling as a...preference? Fetish? Behavior is probably the best way to think of it, but it does involve a feeling. Sadism is about getting pleasure from inflicting pain on other people. The opposite is masochism, where people get pleasure from having pain inflicted on them. Either way, the pleasure piece is important. That is a feeling.

I wonder if maybe with Nobodies, the only way they can feel is by having extreme emotions. That would explain all the crazy extremes each of the characters reach through the game.

No, you're not wrong. I think that's one of the reasons the Nobodies have become so popular. In the end, they weren't really doing anything that was all that bad. They just wanted their hearts back. If Sora had stopped to think about that for a second and maybe try to help them out instead of just going off and killing them, well...KH2 would have been a very different game. But he lucked out since apparently killing a Nobody is the way to give them their heart back. Assuming the heartless that was holding their heart has also been destroyed.

Pleasure is a feeling, correct. And the problem with the Nobodies, really, was Xemnas. He was leading them to do bad things. I'm sure if they'd just asked Sora, instead of trying to kill him to get to Roxas, Sora would have been less inclined to kill them without asking questions first. This is my theory.

I don't know about their heartless. I mean, it stands to reason that if their hearts were strong enough to maintain their appearances as nobodies, then their heartlesses should have been the same. Like Ansem and Xemnas. So I don't know...I don't know where the other Org Heartless could be. But I guess you're right, if Sora ended up a shadow, then it's possible that the others also ended up as shadows? Of course also now that you mention it, if Sora's heart is so strong, how did he end up as a shadow anyway? Something doesn't add up here!

I agree about the other members of the Org, though honestly, I have a theory that the only reason we got Lea and Isa was because of popularity. The other five were mentioned before, but Axel and Saix? I smell fan service. I could be wrong of course

I think your logic is sound. Cuteness should definitely be a factor in what kind of heartless you become. And your more logical logic is also sound. There are actually a lot of reasons why sora probably ended up as a Shadow. It was the best choice for getting the point across. Shadows are the generic representation of Heartless so the easiest way to show that Sora became a Heartless would be to show him as a Shadow. Makes sense.

It is strange that we missed out on Demyx, but...we do have one more game coming out before the final battle. It might not be too late to run into the others.
