So guess what idiot came up with another story?? This idiot! asdfghjkl someone stop me pls!!It takes place when Irrilia's about the age the turts are in the show and I won't say much else before I become obsessed again! I currently have too many different stories and AUs in my head!
But anyway, enjoy a proud Raph.
Also made another video asdfghjkl! Hopefully in the future I'll actually record myself drawing and not just coloring. But I suck at drawing on tablet usually! DX

Ahaha! well thank you, I'm glad you like it. It's a lot different than the poncho I once drew her with but I imagine she wore the poncho as a preteen but than went more for a "street style" as a teenager

It looks great. I love how you draw the turtles. It would be interesting to see Raph as an old turtle, since his baby is grown up and he doesn't look any older.

I'm not a hater but I don't like her. What is great about Irrilia that most people who accept Mona still draw her with Raph? And only Raph? :C

Casey didn't mention his mother, only his father and sister.
Chompy stayed with Raph even though Tokka was his mom.
Why don't I like Irrilia show only Raph. Because I don't like that everyone only show the relationship of the child with the father. Usually daughter with father. Why doesn't someone kill a father and leave only a mother with a child?

Irrilia is shown with Raph first because is how the drawer wanted the picture to be. And second because obviously Raph is main character in TMNT while Mona is not, so you have to think that more people will like any of the turtles before other characters.
But there are plenty of other artists who have drawn Irrilia with her mother, for example:
So saying that you don't like a character because people draw him with "X" and not with "Y" doesn't really look like a reason ...

For me that is the reason, although I know that on the side it may look strange. But...
Count how many are fanarts with Raph&Irrilia, and how much is with Y'Gythgba&Irrilia. I don't want to have a few fanarts with her, where almost no one speaks.

Yes, it hurts me when they want look most Raph and Irrilia draw just because most people prefer Raph. For me it's not right.

If it was the other way round, it would not fit me well either. I don't want people to show one parent, especially when the other parent is alive. It isn't cute or adorable. No.
Do you know what I would like? To get people to accept Y'Gythgba. Don't kill her, don't send back to the planet and create a sad story that Y'Gythgba is a bitch and she has a family in ass (because for me this is how people create her).

OK but in the entire world wide web there are more fanarts of Raph than Mona, right? So it's normal that there are more arts of Raph with his baby than with Mona.
I really haven't seen anybody making Mona being an ass. As much, I've seen making Mona return to her homeplanet for a while (parents live in different planets so that is a plus trying to get them together as a united family).
But I've seen a lot of cute pics with Raph and Mona as well.
Even the cerator of Irrilia have drawed pics like that.
How can you say it's not fair if people preffer a main character over a minor secondary character? That happenes in ALL the fandoms, it's normal.
I don't hate you, I'm just asking, because really doesn't seems to have much sense.

If who create a child, then the two parents are equally important to me, and no one should be shown more often because it is the main character in show.
If two people will have a baby, then for me they should determine where they live together so that there is no such action that one parent somewhere away for some time. And maybe I'm dramatizing, but I see it that way.
Maybe it doesn't make sense, here for the first time I wrote what I think about her and you're the first person (after WinterHeath), who is asking me why. And frankly, I never really thought about why I'm all the more nervous, maybe I just don't like what people around me love...

I really like her thought out design and how she resembles both parents in a way. And so I never considered I'd need to make my own baby OC if I like her enough already.
I mostly draw her with Raph because Raph's my favorite turtle. Though I've drawn her with her mom too but should do it more often.

I'm huge fan of RaphxMona and I have got two friends who make up their own OCs/TMNT Next Gen.
I just don't like stories that are the father himself is raising a child. Even if mom lives.
Don't get me wrong, maybe father-child relationship is beautiful, but I don't know what that means. I have a father but I don't have a dad. My mom's father never respected his wife and children, uncles were never really nice to me and my mum, and sisters. But I have a wonderful mom.
Irrilia is not bad OC, but I don't like the fact that most of them are shown only with her father and I know that Mona in this AU story is somewhere non-stop in space. Maybe it doesn't bother you, but before the episode "When Worlds Collide" came out, I was still afraid that Mona would be back in space and in some episode related to the future, we would only see Raph with a baby without Y'gythgba. I did not want that because we would see the father and baby relationship again. It hurts me that there are no mothers on the show, and that we do not see the mother relationship with the baby.
Most of my friends hate Mona. And the people who so often accept her, usually remember her for a while, make up OC, forget her and focus on father-child, uncles-child, grand-daughter relationship...
Why do everyone forget/kill mothers? Maybe not everyone but most...

Oh but then you don't not like Irrilia but just how her upbringing goes. I don't know what Myrling has in mind for her or what's going on in that next gen story I saw she's part of. I actually imagine Mona with her and Raph most of the time. Maybe just going to her home world every now and then, and taking them with her sometimes, and sometimes not if it's military bussines.
I totally get your concern with no mothers in the show. It bothers me too. I prefer both parents if it's possible. And when we saw Mona's staying on Earth in the last episode I got super excited about it.

It's a bit more complicated. At first I just didn't like her upbringing, but then the more often I saw her, the more often I saw comments that she was adorable that Raph was such a great Daddy and no one ever mentioned Y'gythgba, I started didn't like her. I know it's stupid and I shouldn't do that, but I'm just a "touchy" person. Sorry.
As for me, this is the biggest minus of this series. And this, that we'll never see Casey's sister and their father.
And I'm also happy that Mona stays on Earth. Although I counted that we might see more Salamandrians (I was counting on most other females), but I'm still glad, especially since Mona was the first woman to join Mighty Mutanimals.
I saw her art, but honestly ... I still find it difficult to see anything about Irrilia. Even if it's with Mona.
Anyway, thank you. I was afraid I would be trampled on because I don't like of the popular OC in this fandom.

You're right, I just... I don't know what to do. Sometimes I just feel bad about my own emotions. Maybe if I could draw, I would normally pour out my grief by drawing. But I know drawing is difficult, everyday I exercise, with poor results.
Maybe someday I will grow up, learn to draw and maybe even for you and all Irrilia fans will draw her.

Emotions aren't bad until you allow them to hurt others. So there's nothing wrong. And noone said drawing is easy, especially not in the beggining. Feeling bad about it won't get you far this is why we all practice hard and strive to get better. I wouldn't be where I am if I didn't have a lifetime of drawing, 4 years of art school and the first year of art academy behind me.

Yes, you're right, but only some have more predispositions to draw, others less. And here comes the ambition, conscientiousness and simply desire. I know learning something is difficult, over six years I'm playing drums and I'm still just a greenhorn.
