Welp. Assassin's Creed Revelations trailer and stuff is out, and after a quick session salivating, cosplay underway. Surprise surprise
Here's the kicker though.. wanna get this bugger done for Otakon XD.... which means this this last month (and the next two weeks) have been and will be unmitigated chaos. The house looks like Animus exploded in it
Here's some wip pics. left o right, top to bottom
-Pauldron- will be covered in leather
-Mini head mockup! With bonus stubble!
-transfering pattern to fabric by using talcum powder as guide
-one pair of plates tooled in leather, 4 more pairs of bigger meaner plates to go T_T
-sewing edging using my cheapo sewin' machine. unfortunately, all of the emrboidery has to be hand sewn T_T
-bracer mockup! I'm going to LOVE these bracers!
-hood mockup in foam! Happy with the hood for once!
-about 1/4 of the embroidery patterns i made for this outfit, with some ACB in the mix

I'm sorry, but I spent a LOT of time and research to come up with my blueprints, patterns and designs. Its a major part of what makes my projects unique, and I would rather not just give everything away. I DO however share a lot of process photos and notes, that could help you with designing your own.

I myself and looking in to doing Ezio (brotherhood style) for my next big con. I am starting with the small peices and parts like armor. My only issue is the Assassins seal do you have any suggestions on how to make it?

If I make something available, I'll post an announcement. I'm not a seamstress by trade (i find it a necessary evil for my personal projects), and will not do fabric items on commission. The hood alone took abut 30 hours of work just to lay out right, let alone sew.
As for Ebay, there's too much shadiness there and their fees are absurd.

nice work, how do you put the details in the leather? I have tried using a burning tool but it makes the leather black. what do you use? also what type of leather do you use? Thanks

studied the references and drew everything up from scratch... I wish there was a reference book out there, cuz theres an INSANE amount of embroidery on the thing T_T

well, in regards to references, I gathered up screencaps and stuff from the net, and studied them to draw up plans. pattern and designs.. its nothing really special to be honest. I put some of the better high res images I've found on my website here! [link]

Right now I'm shooting for getting most of the armor done, and the base clothing.. the embroidery will be done after, starting with the hood tip & tunic (decided on masayaf, don't care for the other one at all
I wish i could say with certainty, but i honestly have no idea if it'll be done in time

outside of the pauldron that I'm making for ~rabid-llama , the ACB wip stuff is all just sitting in a bin lol.. might try and finish it for D*con, but first finish off everything on the ACR gear, and finish a gunblade, intel case and thundercats sword.
I'm just happy that I've been able to maintain a strong pace, and got this far. Gonna need to keep this speed up for the rest of the year to stay on top of everything!
