A dark, emo piece for all of you to enjoy.

It wasn't meant to turn out like this. The original idea was, um, actually a happy one of a child sticking out a tongue to taste the lemonade of spring. The idea was immediately transformed when I painted the eyes with eyeshadows that would put a self-declared emo-freak to shame.

The pink of the tongue and the green of the eyes are REALLY out of place, and believe me, I didn't mean for that. It just...happened. Sadly, SAI doesn't have a 'colour' mode for their layers like Photoshop does, and since I'm too lazy to open up Photoshop (it takes AGES to load) you'll just have to make do with bright green and pink like rotten flesh.

Mm-mm, I think the saliva adds a nice touch, no?

Um, about why it's under "Macabre and Horror"...I wanted to add a piece of dangling meat, something rotting or blood which the kid is trying to get. The kid is supposed to be some malnourished child who is so desperate he could eat anything that drops in front of him, hence the saliva.
