Description Now this, ladies and gentlemen, this is what I just worked the last month and a half on. This costume.

So the fur shorts you see are Five Below track shorts with fur, lots of fur, sewn over them. Last minute adjustments were made after my trip to Italy to make them long enough to reach past my knees. The shoes, shown in progress here sta.sh/2215rqq526nu were made from scratch. Just a converse and some wood based off of this tutorial fav.me/d45ss8r There were three layers of gorilla tape arranged to redirect the pressure of lifting the hoof, as well as a layer of fabric tape for spraypaint. The tops and edges were then hidden by fur, leaving a little to look like the heel is connected to my legs. The bottom of the hooves had rubber mat glued on with E 6000 (thank you Ed) to provide traction on uneven ground.

The purse and belt were made using thin faux leather folded over itself, and the inside of the purse is the red fabric used to make my Minth doll's fingers and tail rings (so it's all red). The pouch is just leather, with leather cord and a leather button. All is handsewn and both together took a week's worth of sewing.

The horns are made of wire, foil, and model magic (thanks Homestuck) and painted with acrylics with a thin gloss of matte Mod Podge over it. They are screwed into a headband that's the color of my hair which also has the two foam ears glued to it, but made more flexible with thin jewelry wire. The backs of the ears were shaded with pastels and acrylic paint. The flower headband was purchased from Claire's.

The tail was made with a pom pom from Walmart meant for knit hats that had its seams cut and a scrap of blond fur.

I used dope2111's bronzing techniques www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_a-RQ… and Whippycake's eye and nose/lip techniques www.youtube.com/watch?v=nr9VAb… to perfect Florence's face. Matte spray was used to keep the makeup from coming off. Most of it was water proof.

The stick was found at Captain Ottermoose's birthday party. She let me keep it.

So that's it! That's the costume! Big summer project 2015, done!
