I have to say, I have never given a five-star rating to anyone, but this picture is close to perfect! To begin, I will say that I love the way you use the servants' white hair and black, red and white clothes to unify them as a group, but use varying face shapes, hairstyles and expressions to identify them all as individuals. It gives you a peek into their personalities, from the serious, bespectacled one bearing a kettle, to the small, pompous one with the wine bottle, to the serene lady bringing up the rear.
I love your use of color in this painting as well. It is difficult to integrate something as brightly colored as that cake successfully into a composition, but you do it very well by making the background full of warm colors with occasional pops of blue above the door and in the servants' dishes. This creates just enough color that the cake does not command too much attention, but it's also restrained enough to not be a distraction in itself.
Lastly, I really like the textures you create with your paint- the folds of cloth, wooden wall panels, wax drips from the chandelier and steam from the kettle are all wonderful details that help the setting of a prince's dinner come to life. Wonderful job.
