Natalie grinned as she walked up to her friend. She made sure to raise her voice slightly to be heard over the noise of the busy street."Hi Rebecca, I wasn't expecting to see you today!"
Rebecca smiled as she held up a small envelope addressed to Natalie. "I thought I'd find you here, I wanted to give this to you - it's an invitation, of sorts," she said as she handed it to Natalie.
Natalie opened the envelope, unfolded the piece of paper inside, and read its contents:
You have been chosen. Prepare yourself.
"Rebecca, what is thi-" her voice trailed of as she looked up at Rebecca, only to find that her face had completely vanished, in its place an expressionless expanse of smooth skin. Rebecca slowly raised her right hand as it began to glow eerily. Natalie turned to call for someone's attention, but when she did the busy street was suddenly empty and silent. Her surroundings faded to black as she felt compelled to look back towards the shape of Rebecca, across the featureless face to the raised hand, now glowing white as it drew nearer to her own face. It would be the last thing Natalie saw.

This got me wondering: How do the faceless people in your pictures survive? Without a face, how do they keep themselves from dying from hunger or loss of air?

It is assumed that they no longer need to eat or breathe, as a trade-off for losing their face.

Also, why is all your pictures showing faceless women? Do you do pictures of faceless men?

There are some earlier in my gallery, however the majority of my pics involve women - just a personal choice, really.

Sometimes people send me photos to manipulate so they can see what they would look like faceless - if you have something in mind I could probably look at it in the next day or two, but after that I won't have a lot of time to look at requests for a while.

Wow that's kinda grainy - you might not think so, but it actually makes manipulating the photo slightly more difficult, because if the result is too smooth it can look out of place with the rest of the pic. But here you go: faceless-monster.deviantart.co… Hope you like it
