- they are possible the biggest owl currently discovered on Anuvina.
- Red eyed horned owl are very illusive and only a handful of them have been seen.
- their eyes glows bright red in the dark. many mean it is a scare tactic.
- it is possible they are mute since the ones who have looked for this owl have never heard it hoot or screech. if is does speak; it is very muted.
- Red Eyed horned owl have long legs which are almost as long as the rest of its body. it have been seen on few others owls. by looking at the smaller species of the long-legged owls, it have been proven they have these long legs because they run more than flying. they uses their powerful legs to kill prey.
