Description Spent several days at the dog park relaxing and drawing the many friendly mutts that came to say hi. This was not a study in drawing dogs anatomically correct or nailing down specific textures and pieces (though that sometimes appears if one sits down long enough). Instead the focus was on how the dogs moved, interacted, and reacted. Dog acting like dogs with other dogs. The results were interesting and it was an awesome excuse to get outside and get some fresh air.

Grabbing and holding sensitive parts of a dog's face were another great way to force your way. This flighty jindo mix got the upper hand on an overly rambunctious lab puppy by latching onto his lips and pulling him around. Not wanting to tear his face, the puppy had to comply (don't worry, he deserved it and nobody was hurt).

Jindos are my absolute favorite dog breed ever, I've been meaning to try and get ahold of one for mum and I for her to reminisce about Korea, but even mixes are rare asdfff..
Maybe I'm stereotyping, but lab pups are so very mouthy and that scenario fits to a T in my head, lmao
Also-- Do you speed-draw them as they're right there infront of you? I admire that you're able to get such amazingly accurate doodles, especially when in motion or zipping past.. goshies ;+;

Yeah I draw really fast, but for more refined sketches I'm usually drawing on top of a quick gesture.

Great on-site sketches. I'm horrible at doing this!
