Description Spent several days at the dog park relaxing and drawing the many friendly mutts that came to say hi. This was not a study in drawing dogs anatomically correct or nailing down specific textures and pieces (though that sometimes appears if one sits down long enough). Instead the focus was on how the dogs moved, interacted, and reacted. Dog acting like dogs with other dogs. The results were interesting and it was an awesome excuse to get outside and get some fresh air.

Yay beagles! Which dog park did you go to? I know you're in the LA area. So I was wondering which one.

Cool...didn't know there was one there. I know of the one on Laurel Canyon, and the one on White Oak.

This is around Van Nuys
Sepulveda Basin Dog Park, it's got three enclosed areas. One for small, one for big, one for mix.

Oh! Ok, that is the one on white oak. I took my beagle there once when she was little, but she wasn't all that excited about interacting with other dogs. She's actually quite shy and timid.
