Description Jamaican buzzards are called "John Crows?" this tree is very near the most western tip of Jamaica, and every night these buzzards come to roost there.

I love the contrast between the silhouette of the birds and tree and the sky, it's nice!

I really don't know what to say... I love it! It's perfect! Might look a bit more eerie in grayscale tough

Ah-ah! That's life! A tree, birds, silhouette. Something surreal (I like "strange" points of view or shapes).

Great position...nice work with getting all those birds in
I think a bit closer would be cool too, with the tree closer to the top, but this way is intriguing.

Wow. I'm glad you chose to use b&w; I don't think it would look as dramatic in colour.

Browsing your gallery and this one caught my eye. I like the shape of the tree and the birds look cool in it. Kinda creepy-ish-ness looking... I like it.

This looks really nice. Contrast is very good and b&w works perfectly.

You have an incredibly beautiful gallery, but this caught my eye more than anything else. It reminds me of a Chinese bird-and-flower painting, but zoomed out. I really love this. +fav

Great photo, lol seems like something straight out of a horror film. I love the silhouette. Its really disturbing though, keeps making me think of death. But yea, great skills you have, itz like impossible for me to take photos of birds they always fly away

Great job

Wow. I am somehow moved and disturbed and ...you know this is dreamy, right? Well, yeah - all that! It's fascinating! The almost solid black... and yet so much definable form... shape against void. I applaud you!

Nice murder of crows you've caught. I'd hate for them to crap on me.

Not really much one can say about this. All I'd suggest would be test out if cropping a little of the sky out on top, just an inch of it. It's not really necessary, though. Again, great capture

cool shot. you should try it by saturating the blacks for a full silhoutte look. great, nonetheless

a good idea... it was a funny color shot to start with, a grey day with the sun off to the right... all dull greens and blues

Wonderful. I've been wondering when you would capture a shot of the john crows, they just beg for a picture I think. A convergence on a dead tree is so classic but I don't think it could ever be over done

I've seen something like this before.....
oy, its always the start of a bad nightmare....
I like this though, its hard to capture a huge group of birds without scaring the crap out of them and having them fly away...........
Nice jobby!
